Do you need some kind of federal license to sell ammunition?

Re: ammo for sale

no, but transporting and storing can be subject to various ordinances.

And if you have ANY problems, Centerfire Systems stands behind their products. I got the same email. I just don't shoot .223 any more. Sold all my MBR's that do.

In the past, I purchased a couple of slings and they arrived incomplete. They didn't even want them back. Just sent me two more that WERE complete.

I didn't even have to pay a second shipping charge.

And they were very apologetic for the mistake. I've done business with Centerfire for several years and have NEVER had any problems with ANYTHING I've purchased from them.

Including my Romanian AK Draco pistol. They even did a 'hand select' for free. Gotta love good customer service. OK, I begged like a little whiney girl (please, please, please, please - like that), but they did it for me.

There is a bit of difference between 5.56 nato and .223 rem. One can be used in place of the other, but not the other way around. A 5.56 nato round can make a firearm chambered in .223 go bang on both ends.

If you need 7.62x39 there is a sale on Golden Tiger 1,000 round cases at www.ammoman.com

1,000 rounds for $199.00 including shipping

This is supposed to be better than the Wolf brand.

So... 5.56 has HIGHER chamber pressure than a .223 round?

.223 can be fired in a 5.56 gun, but 5.56 should not be fired in a .223 gun, correct?

That's the word on the street. Don't rely on the stamp that's on the lower of an AR15, look at the stamp on the barrel to see what chamber it really has.

I'm a big fan of Weidners. They ship next day and the shipping charges on 1,000 rounds are reasonable. Privi 5.56 M193 is $350 for $1000 and probably about $25 in shipping. The Privi is made this year.

That's the exact round I've been shooting with. Only my stock is '07 made. Talk about some flawless ammo. I think I ordered mine from Midway. This place looks cheaper. Maybe I'll give them a shot (no pun intended).
